REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS:

All prescriptions must be authorised by a Veterinary Surgeon, and cannot be given out by a nurse or member of the client care team without such authorisation; repeat prescriptions are available upon request - however please allow 24 hours for the request to be processed and the drugs put ready for your collection.  This will save you having to wait for authority to be given and drugs to be dispensed.  It also enables us to ensure we have whatever you require in stock.

However, it should be borne in mind that we are only legally allowed to dispense medication to animals under our care, unless a written prescription is provided by another veterinary practice.

It is a practice requirement that every animal is checked at least once every 6 months by a veterinary surgeon to receive a full health check, and to verify that the current level of medication is correct for your pet's ailment.

Prescriptions (authorised & signed) are available at the veterinary surgeon's discretion; however as from 1 November 2008 a charge of £7.50 + VAT per prescription will be charged for each written prescription issued by the practice.
