Order your pet’s food and repeat medication Online or Over the Phone
Please give us 24 hours notice – your pet’s medicine will then be ready for collection.
If you have run out and need more drugs immediately, please Call Us and we’ll do our very best to get your pet’s medicines available for you quickly.
However, please be aware that we need to get a Vet’s authorisation – and we may not have the drugs in stock.
Please note that there is a small charge for all repeat prescriptions, this charge is only chargeable when ordering medication outside of a consultation. Medication ordered during a consultation carries no charge as this is built into the consultation fee. A dispensing fee has been wavered for all flea and wormer.
All our prescriptions must be authorised by a Veterinary Surgeon – they cannot be given out by a nurse or a member of our client care team without that authorisation.
Legally, we are only legally allowed to dispense medication to animals under our care, unless a written prescription is provided by another veterinary practice.
We also have our own practice requirement that every animal on prescriptions is seen at least once every 6 months by a veterinary surgeon, to receive a full health check – and to make sure that the current level of medication is correct for your pet’s ailment.
Prescriptions are always issued at the veterinary surgeon’s discretion.
There is a standard charge of £15.44 for a single item or £17.51 for multiple items for each written prescription issued by the practice.
