Vet Nurse Consult Assistant / Trainee Veterinary Nurse
Brentknoll Veterinary Centre is looking for an enthusiastic member to join our practice. This position would ideally suit a school/college leaver but all applications will be considered. The position is to join us as a Vet Nurse Consulting Assistant leading onto training as a Veterinary Nurse after 12 months of satisfactory performance.
The ideal candidate should have experience with animals as this is a hands-on role. You must be caring and enthusiastic with good client interaction and be able to deliver that ‘something special’.
To be able to train as a Veterinary Nurse you must have a minimum of 8 GCSEs (Grade C or above including Maths, English and a Science) or A-Levels preferred and the ability to use windows based computer systems.
You will mainly be working alongside the nursing team with some reception shifts. Hours will vary on rotas, but will be approximately 45 hours per week on a shift rota basis and will include some weekend and bank holiday cover.

Brentknoll Veterinary Centre is a long established premium practice in Worcester. We have an exciting opportunity for someone who would like to work in a veterinary practice.
We are looking for someone to join our expanding, excellent client care team working as a receptionist and telephonist. The right candidate must have excellent customer service and telephone skills, be outgoing, bubbly and confident. You must be able to multi-task, prioritise and organise very demanding workloads and be competent in Windows-based packages.
Excellent attention to detail as well as being able to communicate clearly is essential for this position. Previous experience working in the veterinary industry is not required as full training will be given.
This is a full time permanent position working around 40 hours per week within a rota. Weekend cover will be required working 1 in 4 as well as working some bank holidays.
