Out of Hours Cover

Should your pet require veterinary treatment during out of hours periods, we have arranged for Vets Now Emergency Services to be on call.

Who are Vets Now?

Vets Now are a specialist out of hours emergency veterinary service working in conjunction with other veterinary practices. They are a dedicated emergency service so they don’t require their own practice during normal surgery hours, therefore they work out of Severn Vets, Berkeley House, Berkeley Way, Villages, Worcester.

Who works for Vets Now?

Vets Now employ their own team of fully qualified vets and nurses. Their staff are trained in emergency veterinary care and are dedicated to out of hours care, this means they cover night time, bank holiday and other non-routine periods so they are always ready when you need them (no matter the time of night).

Where do I need to Go?

If your pet needs to to see a vet outside our normal opening hours, Vets Now offer an A&E service from Severn Vets, Berkeley House, Berkeley Way, Villages, Worcester, WR4 9UP

What happens after my pet has been treated by Vets Now?

Once your pet has been treated a full report of your pet’s care will be emailed directly to your vets so they will know what has been done and it will be added to your pet’s clinical records.

If you wish to make a claim on your insurance, you will need to provide Vets Now with a claim form and they will process it for you. Please note that if your pet also receives treatment with your own vets you will need to complete a separate claim form (don’t worry, your claim will be treated as one condition and therefore only one insurance excess will be payable).

In an emergency out of hours please call Vets Now on 01905 780404.

If your not sure whether it is an emergency, it’s always best to call for advice. The Vets Now team will be happy to give free advice over the telephone and will be able to tell you if they think it is safe for your pet to wait until the morning to be seen.

If you have any problems with your phone, you can also visit the Vets Now website here >>>
