Repeat Prescriptions from Brentknoll Vets in Worcester
At Brentknoll Veterinary Centre, we like to make ordering and collecting your pet's prescription as simple as possible. For your convenience, you can order repeat prescriptions for your pet online at a time to suit you.
To order your pet’s repeat prescription, please complete the form below with your requirements, and we will prepare your pet’s prescription for you. Regular repeat prescription requests made before 2pm will be available for collection 3pm onwards on the following day. Special order in items can take up to 72 hours. Requests made after 2pm will be actioned the following day
Under the UK law, only veterinary surgeons can prescribe (POM-V) medications for your pet. Our veterinary surgeons under these legislations can prescribe these treatments, but regular health checks must be performed. Our policy is to carry out a regular medication review (consultation) every 3 months. More frequent visits may be required depending on the condition being treated. This is to ensure your pet is still in good health and on the most appropriate treatment, dose and regime. This sometimes includes blood sampling, blood pressure readings or other monitoring types.
Written Prescriptions
Written prescriptions may be used to obtain medication from another vet or pharmacy. A written prescription does incur a fee.
As with other repeat prescriptions, your pet may need to see one of our veterinary surgeons for a medication check before issuing the written prescription. We also ask for 48 hours' notice to prepare your written prescription.
